When I was little, I had always wanted to grow up and be an adult! I mean, who didn’t? But now that I am 21, sometimes I wish I could go back… wouldn’t that be nice?!
1.) Life is hard! Challenges lie in every corner… fight through them!
2.) You’ll get teased for the most ridiculous reasons, but you have to work on building your confidence and boosting your self-esteem.
3.) Friends will come and go… & come and go… & come and go.
4.) Your true friends are the ones who accept you for who you really are. Inside and out!
5.) Laugh… A LOT!
6.) Also, WRITE A LOT! Writing is therapeutic. When you can’t talk things out, write them out! You’ll feel better. I promise!
7.) When something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it! No matter how bad you want to.
8.) Mistakes shape you! They make you who you are. Don’t be ashamed of your mistakes, learn from them!
9.) If one way doesn’t work, don’t give up! Try a new approach.
10.) Live by the Serenity Prayer.
11.) Think before you speak or act! You can’t take things back.
12.) Say “I love you!” Say it as much as you can.
13.) Music can get you through so much! Especially country. Make a ton of playlists! Base them on moods… so when you’re feeling sad, play songs that make you happy. When you’re energized and need to sleep, listen to music that’ll relax you.
14.) It’s important to make time for yourself.
15.) Don’t change who you are just to fit in! It’s not worth it.
16.) Don’t ever give up on your dreams. EVER!
17.) Failure means that you are at least trying… it’s not a bad thing!
18.) If you want to spend the entire day reading a book, do it. Escaping reality every now and then is a good thing. Enjoy it!
19.) Help others as much as you can. Be a giving person!
20.) Learn to say no because it is okay to say it every once in a while.
21.) LOVE YOUR LIFE! Every second of it. Good or bad. Each breath is a blessing!
