Gender Reveal Party Ideas

Gender Reveal Party Ideas

When I started my business, never did I think that party/event planning would be a path I wanted to take… but I quickly learned that I loved throwing events and parties!

Today, I’m sharing 10 Gender Reveal Party Ideas that are super cute & creative!

These roundups will be something I do weekly as a way to get my dose of party planning!

Gender Reveal Party Ideas

Fun and Games

Game ideas to make your gender reveal party super fun!

Boy or Girl Voting Game

Get your gender reveal party started right by having guests vote boy or girl. They can then show off their vote, by wearing a pink or blue button.

Gender Reveal Predictions Game

Let your party guests have fun making predictions about your baby! All you have to do is print out the free printable by What’s In My Belly and pass them out at your party with pens.

Gender Reveal Bingo

This is fun for when the mom-to-be is opening presents… every time one of the items is gifted to the parents, cross it off… 4 in a row, yell BINGO!

Decorations

Gender Reveal Party Ideas for making your party look good!

Gender Reveal Decorations

How FUN is this balloon cascade of pink and blue balloons! I love it!

I couldn’t find where this idea originated. If it’s your idea, let me know and I’ll add credit!

Tutus or Ties Gender Reveal

Stray from the traditional blue and pink and choose a fun and fresh color scheme like gray and yellow! This Tutus or Ties Gender Reveal Party by Laura’s Little Party is simply gorgeous!

Gender Reveal Backdrop

Create a scrapbook paper backdrop in pink and blue.

Revealing the Gender

Ideas for when it’s time to announce the gender!

Gender Reveal Pinata

Being a Latina, I LOVE this idea! Reveal the baby’s gender by hitting a piñata… it’ll burst open and drop confetti and grass in either pink or blue! Totally awesome and how FUN!

Silly String Gender Reveal

This is probably one of the most creative ways I’ve seen to reveal the gender of baby to be. Simply wrap cans of blue or pink silly string in white paper (use Mod Podge so there’s no peeking) and decorate with pink and blue ribbon.

When it comes time to reveal the gender, each guest sprays the silly string!

I couldn’t find where this idea originated, but if it’s your idea, let me know and I’ll definitely add a link to your website!

Gender Reveal Cake

There’s tons of baby reveal cakes out there… so there’s plenty to fit each personality, but this “Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star” cake is super adorable!!! When the parents-to-be cut into it, the gender will be revealed by the color of the icing on the inside.

I love how they used a popular children’s song… so creative!

Gender Reveal Balloons

While the pink or blue balloons in a box reveal is lovely, this idea is awesome!

A black balloon is filled with confetti… when popped, the gender will be known based on the color of the confetti!

I think all these gender reveal party ideas are super creative! I can’t wait to plan one!!

Hopefully this post helps spark ideas for your next gender reveal party!

When it comes time for us to have a little one, I plan on doing one for at least family, maybe close friends. I have a friend who had one prepared, people ready then voila baby didn’t cooperate so they had to waste a cake. But she did find out and just decided to share the news the 2nd time around.

I don’t think I could ever do a gender reveal because I want to know as soon as the doctor does. However, that confetti filled balloons idea is super cute. Confetti always makes a party more fun!

Such cute ideas! I was Team Green with my youngest and they didn’t have cool Gender Reveal parties when I was pregnant with my first. I hope when my sister has a baby she lets me do this for her.

These are such cute ideas! I’m actually hosting a baby shower next weekend and have the BINGO templates for that game. I think I’ll do a post on how it all turns out. Not as pretty as put together as the Pinterest pics, but it’ll do.

We did a gender reveal party for our family and friends, but we already knew what we were having.
