When I’m going through a tough time, I turn to crafting as a type of therapy. So this easy Paper Bag Pumpkin craft was a simple craft that I could do that I could involve my toddler brother in. He loves helping and being a part of things, so helping with this craft was lots of fun for him. Plus, they make cute Halloween decorations for the house.
They’re super easy to make! Here’s the supplies you’ll need:
- Paper Bag
- Newspaper (or any other old paper, we used an old magazine)
- Rubber Band
- Orange and Green Tempera Paint
- Black Marker
Start off by crumpling pieces of the old paper into balls and then stuff them into the paper bag until it’s about two-thirds full.
Twist the top and close it off with a rubber band.
Paint the bottom part of the bag with the orange paint. Make sure to get into the cracks.
Paint the top part of the bag with the green tempera paint.
Once the paint is dry, use the black marker to draw a jack o’ lantern face onto the bag.
And that’s it! An easy and simple Halloween craft that your kiddos can lend a hand to make. I hope you enjoy making your own paper bag pumpkins!
