Over the summer, I become extremely busy with my new job and taking on new projects. I’ve also been blogging more. It’s great, but I have less time for myself now (which isn’t completely a bad thing). However, I make sure to set aside 15-30 minutes a day so I can read.
I wanted to share my August reading list with you. I’m clinging onto summer, so most of them are summer related.
Where’d You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple
This one has been on my list for a while. I’ve heard great things and really want to dig in asap. The only problem is that my mom got a hold of it, so now I have to wait for her to finish.
Broken Hearts, Fences, and Other Things to Mend by Katie Finn
I started this one at the beginning of the summer, but didn’t get to finish it before I had to get it back to the library. I’m interested in seeing another side of Morgan Matson, so I can’t wait to start reading this one again.
The Summer Series by Jenny Han
What’s summer reading without some love stories by the beach? Especially with a girl named Belly. I immediately added this whole series to my cart because they’ve been hard to get my hands on from the library. Jenny Han has become one of my favorite authors, so I had to have these on my bookshelf.
