My little brother is 4 years old and our favorite song to sing together is Belle. He calls it the bonjour song. It’s the cutest thing to watch him sing, I just love it. Today, I’m sharing the enchanted rose craft I did with him with the 25th anniversary edition of Beauty and the Beast playing in the background. The special edition has lots of great features, you can read all about them here.
Here’s the materials you will need:
- red tissue paper
- lollipop stick
- green pipe cleaner
- gold washi tape
- brown construction paper
- glass jar
- tape and/or glue dots
1.) Cut a strip of red tissue paper that are 4 inches wide and fold in half (hot dog style). Then, cut the two corners and round the top.
2.) Put glue dots or tape on the bottom and start to wrap the strip around the lollipop stick. When done, use glue dots or tape to secure the end.
3.) Wrap the lollipop stick with the green pipe cleaner and bend the end to make a leaf.
4.) Trace the bottom of the jar onto the construction paper and cut out a circle. Then, tape the rose to the middle of the construction paper.
5.) Wrap the bottom of the jar with gold washi tape.
6.) Place the jar over the rose and you’re done!
My little brother really enjoyed making the enchanted rose and when we were done, he placed it in front of the TV to look at while we finished the movie. We then watched it a second time, but this time it was the sing along version (which I loved!).
I want YOU to enjoy the Beauty and the Beast: 25th Anniversary Edition too.
